Overview We're looking for an experienced Data Engineer to focus on designing, developing, and maintaining key ETL tools . You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement & maintain efficient data ingestion, transformation and loading methods. You will raise the bar on technical excellence, show thought leadership, and communicate well with different audiences while loading the data strategy and solution engineering. Responsibilities Responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the infrastructure for the data platform. Maintaining data pipeline efficiency, scalability & throughput Responsible for data quality, data accuracy & data completeness Responsible for the development of physical and logical data models Responsible for building configurable data ingestion & transformation techniques. Responsible for utilizing ETL/ELT tools to acquire, transform & load data from various sources. Connecting to various data sources, importing data, and transforming data for providing business insights. Identifying areas for improvement in the data platform infrastructure and developing solutions to address them Design and develop algorithms for real-time data processing and to create frameworks that enable quick and efficient data acquisition. Troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues, performance bottlenecks, and data quality issues. Collaborate with data architects and data analysts to determine design needs. Qualifications Experience is building efficient & scalable data pipeline. Experience in full-phase ETL/ELT implementation using tools like SAP-BODS, Fivetran, DPT, Matillion or other tools Strong experience in Snowflake with exposure to real-time data ingestion and data retrieval techniques. Experience in large-scale data migration projects Experience in designing and implementing data models to store data efficiently for easy retrieval and analysis Ensuring data security as per the company policy. Strong skills in writing SQL queries using databases like Snowflake, Redshift, Microsoft SQL Server etc. Strong experience in various AWS services like Kinesis, Athena, S3, Glue, DMS etc Experience in Java, Python etc. are big plus Experience in working with virtual & global team across different time zones. Exposure to reporting tools like Microstrategy, Qlik, Power BI, Business Objects, Tableau etc. is desirable Provide on-call support to business intelligence platform. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or foreign degree equivalent. 6 years of experience as a Data Engineer in building modern data platform & scalable Data Marts using various data acquisition techniques & data transformation tools.
