Position Brand Description: The purpose of this position is to provide: Production floor scheduling for a 24 hour, 7 days per week operation for API manufacturing. You will be responsible for the short term (0-3 months) and also long range (3-24 months) plant scheduling through coordinated tools and processes. Subject matter expertise for production scheduling across the site including owning continually improving and standardizing the efforts for scheduling activities. The role will automate tasks where possible and lead efforts to benchmark/implement software and external standard processes for production scheduling activities across the site. Other responsibilities include being involved in plant-wide improvement projects as appropriate. Key Objectives/Deliverables: Provide daily schedules to the production floor in order to maintain efficient individual plant operations resulting target amounts of API output. Facilitate production/shop floor meetings, where applicable. Provide weekly and monthly metric updates to monitor and track plant operational performance. Lead the improvement process and standardization efforts for scheduling activities across IAPI Support Indy API OSSCE processes Lead short and long term production plans. Convert, check component availability and release process orders for shop floor. Drive operations, QCL and QA to meet expectations of shop floor conformance. Run MRP (Materials Requirement Planning). Input the production plan into the master Schedule. Maintain scheduling parameters (e.g., time fences, lead times which becomes a set of planning numbers that drives MRP. Basic Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, chemistry, or similar field. 5 years experience in operations or supply chain related role. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this position Additional Preferences: Shown understanding of SAP Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Awareness of data integrity Knowledge of recipes, bill of materials (BOMs), intermediates, and raw materials used. IAPI manufacturing experience SAP power-user experience preferred Proficient communications skills (both verbal and written) Knowledge of supply chain terminology and processes Able to manage linked activities with rapid flow of integrated information High level knowledge of overall manufacturing process Knowledge of distribution, purchasing, and demand management Other Information: No certifications required Tasks require entering manufacturing areas which require wearing appropriate PPE.
