Information: All travelers are required to float, while on the interview please inform traveler of the Methodist Floating Policy Unit Specifics - Information below is requested for better sourcing: · Number of Beds : 14 ICU, 20 Med/Surg · Patient Ratios : 1:2 in ICU, 1:5 in Med/Surg · Unit staffing description- 1 PCA, 1 UC · Type of equipment : standard · Documentation system: Meditech · Scheduling requirements: every other weekend. We have had a lot of issues with call-in’s and no-show. Please do not send candidates that have had attendance issues. · Floating policy: As needed Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: Must have : (candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role) · Must Have BLS · At least 2 years of Experience · NIH REQUIRED Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed : (candidates with these skills will be considered first) Meditech Experience Specialty/Unit Certifications Required: (RN) Active TX RN License- Temp License are no longer accepted Procedures performed on unit: Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire. Scrub Color o RN: Navy-scrub top and pant, Navy or white scrub jacket Nail Policy – Clean and Healthy Hair - hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed Tattoos – Body art should be covered whenever possible.
