Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg / Telemetry - $2,231 per week

Certification Details ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required. BLS - Basic Life Support required. Other certifications might be required depending on the cost center; confirmation from IUHealthCSSLeads is necessary. Job Details IU Health is offering charge pay, which is a $3.00 bill rate bump per hour. First Time travelers Accepted: Yes. Shift Requirements: 3x12s or 4x12s, every other weekend required. Minimum Experience Required: 18 months. Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN’s to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9/9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11/30). Periop/OR RN’s, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30 deadline. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS. Job Requirements IN STATE LICENSE/ REQUIRED CERTS MUST BE IN HAND TO SUBMIT. Certification Requirements: ACLS, BCLS required. Skillset Requirements: Telemetry and IV Start required. Floating Requirements: YES. Locals Accepted? Medical-Surgical: Majority are medical patients (COPD exacerbation, PNA, COVID-19, chest pain, small bowel obstruction, etc.). Small surgical case load including various surgeries like gastric sleeve, gastric bypass, colectomy, mastectomy, appendectomy, cholecystectomy.
