Executive Director, Quality About the Company Innovative, publicly-traded biotechnology (BioTech) company Industry Biotechnology Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Quality with a focus on GxP to join their innovative team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of the Quality Department, ensuring that all activities across manufacturing, clinical development, and laboratory are in compliance with corporate policies and regulatory standards. This role involves the development, implementation, and monitoring of quality programs and policies, as well as leading and directing quality staff. The Executive Director will also be tasked with strategic oversight of internal and external audits, and corrective and preventive actions, and will be expected to collaborate with other departments to meet quality and compliance objectives. Applicants must have an advanced degree and a minimum of 20 years of leadership experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with a specific focus on quality. Biologics experience is essential, and a strong understanding of GMP and GCP is required, with GLP experience being desirable. The role demands a seasoned professional with a proven track record in quality management, including direct people management, and the ability to provide expert input on all quality and compliance issues. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader, capable of driving a highly functioning department, and will be adept at developing and implementing quality systems and strategies.
