Environmental Acquisition Specialist

Insight Global is seeking an Environmental Acquisition Specialist to support Environmental Support and Services at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA), TX. You will work closely with the Government Project Manager to provide both technical and administrative assistance. Key responsibilities include ensuring that Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for environmental consulting services adhere to acquisition package standards, conducting quality control reviews, and managing project funding. Required Skills & Experience A bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or a related field relevant to the job. At least 3 years of experience in environmental consulting services, including work under the Resource Conservation & Recovery Act (RCRA) and the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA). Familiarity with Performance Based Remediation (PBR) and Optimized Remediation Contracts (ORC) acquisition, with experience in one or more Federal agencies. Ability to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) for access to military bases or Federal premises. Capability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug test. Experience with the contract acquisition process, including various contract vehicles such as those used by the Air Force, GSA, and USACE. Experience in developing Independent Government Estimates (IGEs) for contract acquisition packages. Nice to Have Skills & Experience CPA or other recognized professional certifications/licenses. Experience working with the Department of Defense (DOD) or other government agencies. Familiarity with environmental remediation technologies and practices.
