Equipment Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician Position Overview: As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and servicing semiconductor process equipment, specifically MOCVD (Metal Organic Chemical Vapor Deposition) machinery. This role involves performing preventive, predictive, and routine maintenance, as well as handling essential repairs to minimize downtime and support high-volume production. You will report directly to the Production Manager and work closely with the engineering team to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Key Responsibilities: Perform installation, preventative maintenance, and repairs on MOCVD equipment. Conduct both electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks. Organize and manage spare parts, tools, and necessary materials for efficient operations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance activities. Follow established SOPs and contribute to the documentation of new procedures. Be available to address maintenance issues that may arise after hours. Qualifications & Skills Required: Language Proficiency: Fluent in both English and Korean. Technical Skills: Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of equipment repair and maintenance. Problem Solving: Ability to identify issues quickly and efficiently resolve them. Personal Attributes: Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Attention to Detail: Capable of differentiating colours and working with small wires and objects. Minimum Qualifications: Education: Associate’s Degree in a relevant field. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with electrical wiring and machine maintenance. Experience: Minimum of 2 years in machine maintenance. Software Proficiency: Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). Compliance: Willingness to complete a background check and drug screening.
