Manufacturer of structural landing gear components and airframe machined parts is hiring for a Finisher/Powder Coater for their manufacturing department. Qualified candidates should have experience working in and around machine shops for military and aircraft environments. Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm $27-30 an hour Resume required Green Card or US Citizenship required If you are interested in learning more about this position please email Chamira at Chamira.rosariorandstadusa.com or text 631.339.0281 for more information salary: $27 - $30 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PMeducation: No Degree RequiredResponsibilities Clean, sand, and prepare surfaces of military components for finishing processes, ensuring they meet specificationsUse various tools and techniques to polish surfaces to achieve desired finishes, such as mirror or matte finishes, on metal and composite materials.Use sandpaper, abrasives, or media blasting to prepare surfaces by removing old finishes or smoothing imperfections.Protect areas that should not be painted or coated with masking tape, plugs, or covers.Prepare paints, primers, or powder coatings according to specified ratios, ensuring proper consistency and color match.Use spray guns or electrostatic equipment to apply coatings evenly.Apply dry powder electrostatically, ensuring uniform coverage, then cure the coating in an oven.Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to understand finishing requirements for various components.
