The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for tracking sales leads from lead generating databases and traveling throughout the assigned territory to visit regular and prospective customers. The goal is to gain new business while maintaining Best in Class customer service. The Outside Sales Representative communicates with customers and our operations team daily, which includes negation of staffing agreements, pricing, and credit terms to ensure a smooth sales process. This is a fast-paced role with multiple customers at various stages of the sales pipeline. To be successful as an Outside Sales Representative you should be able to build rapport, be an active listener, problem solver, as well as organized with strong technical skills. Staff Zone offers a thorough training program that will provide you with all the tools and knowledge to become successful within the role Responsibilities as our Outside Sales Representative: Engage in sales, marketing, and business development. Aggressively track sales leads, based on information from lead generating databases, newspapers, business directories, and other sources. Understand customers’ needs and moving efficiently through our detail-oriented sales process. Travel throughout assigned territory to visit regular and prospective customers, gain new business and maintain good customer service (12 – 15 customer visits a day) Following up on leads, outstanding deliverables, and action items in a timely manner to keep the sales process moving efficiently. Quote prices and credit terms and prepare sales forms/customer applications. Strategize and communicate daily with fellow team members. Record all customer and prospect contact information in proprietary software and transmit reports to management on a weekly basis. Assist with operations at the Branch on an as-needed basis. Be flexible with your schedule so that you can take customer calls beyond the set daily field hours and attend any networking or customer events as they arise.
