Key Responsibilities: Conduct outbound sales calls to identify and qualify potential leads. Respond to inbound inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and requirements. Provide product information, technical assistance, and guidance to customers to facilitate the sales process. Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and objectives. Collaborate with the sales team to coordinate sales efforts, share best practices, and optimize performance. Utilize CRM software to track sales activities, update customer information, and generate reports. Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities. Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance sales skills and knowledge. Daily Read emails- there will be emails that need attention from everyone. Complete research of needed parts Quote customers in need of product. Help outside salespeople with price, availability, and verbiage of their quotes. Follow up on past emails that still need attention- both giving answers and receiving them. Answer phone calls. Process OTC and OTCSH jobs. Run report to update projected invoice dates and working status for OTC and OTCSH jobs. Collaborate with Salesmen, Purchasing, Shop, Admin, and Accounting to solve issues. Process “Final Verification” status jobs and process to be invoiced. Weekly Meet with GM to go over OTC sales. Meet with Admin team to stay updated. Meet with outside sales team. As Needed Meet with salesperson individually. Backup purchasing Meeting with customers. Meet with vendors to keep good relations, find new opportunities. Provide SyteLine help. Assist with inventory. Assist in product management. Organize shirts purchase. Any special task asked. Qualifications and Skills: 3-5 Years experience in Municipal, Commercial, and Industrial Pump Sales serving the building and construction trades. Strong problem-solving skills. Strong hands-on leadership experience with a proven sales track record. A fundamental understanding of pricing, forecasting, cost management and other financial tools are used to help drive a successful profit center. Excellent Networking Capabilities. Great connection with potential buyers in the area. Highly responsive to customer requirements, responding promptly to queries and to customer changes. Preferred: Candidates with pump, valve, or rotating equipment sales or engineering experience. Proven interpersonal skills and a history of successful performance in a team environment as well as working independently. Strong interest in successfully interacting with customers in a sales/customer facing role. Commercially astute and able to understand sales strategy. Must be flexible in dealing quickly with conflicting priorities; being a team player, willing to give additional effort when required to meet customer-based deadlines.
