The primary function of our outside sales position is to make in-person sales calls. This candidate must be able to support our existing book of business and prospect. The outside sales representative must form meaningful relationships with our customers, have a high say/do ratio, and clearly illustrate our product and service values. In an outside role, we look for an individual with excellent communication and reporting skills to increase our market intelligence. This candidate must be able to recommend products and services, handle objections, and close sales. This is a "pure" sales job in that many of the administrative, operational, and reporting tasks required for success are handled by other internal teams.
