Jet The World Management is a forward-thinking private aviation management company that prioritizes quality and safety above all else. We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Director of Maintenance (DOM) to uphold our policies, procedures, and safety culture in accordance with CFR 119.69, operating under Part 135 FAA regulations. Our office is located on Kissimmee Gateway Airport (ISM) property. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of aircraft maintenance, including Maintenance Control, Parts, Line Station Maintenance, Technical Support, Training, and Records for our expanding Hawker fleet. Serve as the representative of Jet The World Management, ensuring a unified and professional approach when engaging with industry personnel and regulatory entities. Communicate effectively with flight crews, operations, and sales teams to ensure the success of flight operations. Manage aircraft repairs and maintenance scheduling efficiently. Ensure compliance with all FAA regulations under Part 135 operations. Coordinate with Flight Operations to manage a floating fleet schedule. Be readily available to coordinate unscheduled maintenance. Maintain consistent and accurate records and logbooks as required. Foster a culture of trust and inclusiveness, with effective communication being of paramount importance. Basic Qualifications: Extensive experience that meets FAA approval criteria for the position of Director of Maintenance as outlined in CFR 119.69 under Part 135 regulations. Strong experience with Hawker aircraft is required. Previous management experience in a FAR Part 135 environment is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of parts storage, parts, and their function and lifecycles is highly preferred. Proficient in digital communications and technology. Capacity to adhere to an on-call schedule to support our flight operations. Current FAA-issued certificate with Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) ratings and Aircraft Inspector (IA) certificate are preferred. Specific Skills: Proficient knowledge of the General Operations Manual (GOM), FAA regulations, operational specifications, flight manuals, relevant laws (especially MEL), and other pertinent information related to the role. Strong experience with Hawker aircraft is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a particular emphasis on interpersonal skills that align with our company's culture of open and honest communication in an inclusive manner. Strong project management skills. Familiarity with computer operational software such as JetInsight, Traxxall, CAMP, Bluetail, etc. Must possess knowledge of and maintain an up-to-date file of all applicable FARs.
