We’re looking for a creative and knowledgeable Lead Video Editor to edit and oversee the production of vertical series episodes for our app, DramaBox. In this role, you’ll bring expertise in current English vertical drama trends, ensuring our content resonates with the latest market shifts and audience expectations. DramaBox is an innovative leader in mobile streaming, offering an extensive selection of on-demand TV shows, movies, and short films designed to captivate audiences worldwide. Key Responsibilities • Edit episodes for the DramaBox app, crafting engaging, high-quality video content and trailers • Review and provide constructive feedback on video drafts • Lead and collaborate with Assistant Editors and junior editors, guiding projects to completion • Stay informed on vertical drama trends and adapt to fast-changing industry developments • Collaborate effectively across production teams in various time zones • Ensure quality, consistency, and brand alignment in all video content • Maintain open and timely communication with team members and stakeholders Qualifications • Bachelor's degree or higher in film, animation, visual effects, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. • Demonstrated experience editing vertical series or short-form video, ideally for social media or mobile-first platforms • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Davinci (plus) • Ability to work collaboratively and provide leadership to junior team members • Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to high-quality standards • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms like YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok • A keen eye for pairing music with storytelling to enhance viewer engagement • Startup experience is an asset
