Job Title: Project Manager - Commercial HVAC & Plumbing Location: Phoenix, AZ Job Summary We seek an experienced project manager with a solid commercial HVAC and plumbing project background to join our Phoenix, AZ, team. The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience managing large-scale projects, including hospitals, schools, airports, data centers, high-rises, hotels, and arenas. This role is crucial for overseeing complex mechanical construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and under budget. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage commercial HVAC and plumbing projects from inception through completion, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards. Oversee large and complex projects such as hospitals, data centers, and high-rise buildings, applying industry best practices and innovative solutions to meet client needs. Direct project teams, including subcontractors and in-house staff, foster a collaborative environment emphasizing safety, efficiency, and excellence. Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their expectations are met and exceeded, and identify opportunities for additional services and future projects. Ensure all projects comply with local codes and regulations and that all necessary documentation, reports, and records are accurately maintained. Qualifications​​​​​​​ Minimum of 5 years in project management within the commercial HVAC and plumbing sector, focusing on large-scale projects such as hospitals, data centers, and high-rise buildings. A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is strongly preferred. Equivalent field experience will be considered. Must be a local candidate with a stable work history in the Phoenix area, possessing a thorough understanding of the local market and its unique challenges. Familiarity with industry-standard software such as Bluebeam, MS Project, AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks is essential. Proven ability to lead diverse teams, manage complex schedules, and deliver projects on time and within budget. Preferred Experience Previous experience working with top mechanical contractors in the region. Demonstrated success in managing large-scale, multi-million dollar projects. A strong network within the Phoenix construction industry.
