The Compliance Manager will lead the Hanwha Convergence in-house NERC/CIP compliance programs ensuring the company adheres to the strict and evolving regulations set by the governing entities. Working with other key internal stake holders and external compliance partners the Compliance Manager will develop and maintain the program for Hanwha Convergence to present to NERC/CIP and ensure cooperation across the company in order to maintain an impeccable compliance record. The compliance manager will also be responsible for interacting with and supporting our clients and GO counterparts with requests that come to Hanwha Convergence who will be registered as the GOP on our projects that fall under NERC GOP registration requirements. Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities: Provide leadership oversight of the corporate NERC compliance structure and processes. Design and implement CIP compliance programs for project sites and control center. Collaborate with IT, engineering, and the ROC to ensure robust physical and cyber security policies and controls comply with applicable requirements. Collect, analyze, and submit required NERC reliability reports, self-certifications, data requests, vulnerability assessments, and potential non-compliance self-reports. Ensure compliance deadlines are met. Review NERC evidence per the applicable measures provided in the NERC standards to ensure compliance. Work with internal leadership and external partners to monitor the development of NERC policies and procedures related to standard development. Manage the non-compliance process investigation and documentation and track the implementation of corrective action. Perform NERC CIP cyber security compliance and technical audits. Provide Training to plant and ROC personnel on current and updated NERC standards, procedures, and plans. Prepare NERC-related reports and presentations to internal and external stakeholders. Develop and maintain KPIs to demonstrate program performance. Participate in industry meetings and conferences to stay informed about current and future regulatory requirements and assess their impact on Hanwha Convergence USA. Education and/or Experience Requirements: Required: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field and 5 years of experience in the power generation industry designing and deploying NERC/CIP programs. Demonstrated working knowledge and experience in NERC/CIP and regional entity compliance. Demonstrated experience with regional reliability organizations' policies, regulations, and laws. Ability to work independently and use personal judgment to identify and solve complex problems.
