Manufacturing Maintenance

Advantage Technical is seeking a Craftsperson – Manufacturing Maintenance for our client in Irvine, CA who strive to foster a diverse and inclusive work environment They are looking for a highly skilled candidate who has a solid skillset and background of technical, mechanical, and electrical skills. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE -Maintenance and Mechanical & Electrical skills, controls & PLC experience, VFD & Pneumatics & schematics. All are a MUST HAVE. Contract Duration : 6-months with (the possibility for extension or conversion) Pay : $35-$45 per hour (based of years of experience) Shift/schedule – Night shifts or Day shifts available; Sun-Wed. OR Wed–Sat (5pm-5am) Gear boxes Conveyors Drive systems Models Control systems Relays Sensors Mechanical and electrical tools Reading and understanding electrical schematics/diagrams Pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Reading and understanding electrical schematics/diagrams Basic PLC and controls troubleshooting Low and high voltage controls LOTO performance Job Function | Day-to-day- working with senior mechanic to troubleshoot equipment (labelers, customize equipment, etc.) perform plc preventative maintenance · Performs scheduled maintenance on manufacturing machines and systems. · Repairs the malfunction of machines, systems and auxiliary equipment. · Routinely checks on machinery and systems for signs of fault in order to prevent or minimize downtime interruptions. · Initiates improvement on the functionality of machines and equipment to increase its efficiency. · More senior position might act as a team leader to ensure that the work meets agreed targets by directly overseeing team members. · Must demonstrate knowledge of the field's policies, procedures and practices. · Will become the subject matter expert at higher levels of job. · Documents activities accordingly. Education · High school diploma/G.E.D required, Associate’s or technical degree preferred. Experience · 5 years related experience OR PBS requirements completed and pass assessment at appropriate level.
