The firm's dynamic, team-oriented studio structure promotes collaboration and innovation while supporting ongoing investment in talent and sustainable design practices. Given the firm's continued growth and success, they are seeking a Project Manager for their Development Studio based in their Los Angeles office. RESPONSIBILITIES: The Project Manager will be a collaborative and detail-oriented professional, skilled in guiding medium-sized project teams through the entire project cycle. They will work closely with Principals and project teams to ensure smooth workflow throughout all phases of planning, design, documentation, and construction. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing medium-sized project teams and coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors. They will develop and adhere to project scope, budget, schedule, and work plans, ensuring design quality and technical excellence in project execution. As the firm's representative to clients, they will handle all contractual and project development issues. The Project Manager will collaborate across disciplines to develop and execute projects, mentor and train project team staff, and advocate for design excellence both internally and with clients. They will oversee project approvals and regulatory compliance, maintain project profitability, and track accounts receivable. This role requires a professional who can balance multiple projects simultaneously and apply their expertise to progressively more complex and diverse assignments. SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture; Professional licensure required, LEED AP preferred 10 years of design, documentation, and project management experience, with a focus on multifamily residential and mixed use projects Experience with all phases of medium to large-scale projects Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing teams and working closely with clients, sub-consultants, and vendors Familiarity with building codes, zoning ordinances, and ADA requirements related to design Proven fiscal accountability and responsibility pertaining to fees, scope, and schedule Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously Excellent communication and presentation skills Proficiency in industry-standard software including Revit, AutoCAD, 3D Studio, Rhino Ability to independently develop and present functional project designs Highly organized, detail-driven, and conscientious Strong initiative and proactive approach to problem-solving
