Senior Construction Project Manager (5 years) 100% onsite Atlanta, Georgia 30318, US Salary Range - $110-$150k yearly Heavy Civil Water/Wastewater related experience is a MUST have Relocation Package Offered for Qualified Candidates We are seeking an experienced Industrial/Civil Construction Project Manager to join our family in the Atlanta, GA metro area. The Construction Project Manager is key in subcontractor and vendor management, bid preparation, cost control, scheduling, & client interaction. In this role, you will be responsible for the construction project from assignment to completion. Your contributions will directly impact project success and client satisfaction. The type of projects we specialize in are almost exclusively water/wastewater or similar industrial projects within the Atlanta, GA metro area. As a Construction Project Manager, your responsibilities will also include: Responsible for preparing bid packages and invitation to bid inquiries, receiving and analyzing bids, qualifying subcontractors, and awarding subcontracts and major purchase orders Coordinates requirements of governing authorities for permits, inspections, and final approval of the project with A/E Maintains submittal control, including scheduling, receiving, reviewing, approving, and expediting submittals from suppliers and subcontractors to comply with the progress schedule Manages client relations, including progress meetings, correspondence, periodic reports, change orders, and responses to client inquiries Prepares requisitions for payment and other required project invoicing. Maximizes project cash flow through invoicing and collections Prepares and secures owner acceptance of contract change orders. Issues modifications to subcontracts and purchase orders after owner acceptance and updates budget in the summary cost report Reviews and monitors project progress, quality and safety. Works with the superintendent and makes corrections as required to comply with contract and company policy and procedures Assists in the development of construction personnel through mentoring and on-the-job training Construction Project Manager Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering/construction management (or equivalent industrial construction experience) At least 3 yrs. of Industrial Construction Management Experience (water/wastewater/power plant/ civil engineering/etc.) Experience in Managing Resources (budgets, schedules, & materials) in environments with multiple, competing demands Knowledge of Construction Methods, Engineering, Estimating, Equipment, & Technology Excellent understanding of Safety Guidelines & Procedures Excellent Organizational, Supervisory, Communication, Collaboration, & Analytical Skills Must be willing/able to travel per project requirements Must be located/willing to relocate to the Atlanta, GA metro area (location assistance offered for qualified individuals) Ability to understand & execute Engineering’s vision & values: Team, Excellence, Service, and Trust Construction Project Managers Receive: Relocation Package offered for Qualified Candidates Very Competitive Compensation Package (based on experience) NO WEEKENDS & NO EVENINGS - Sleep at Home Every Night Flexible Scheduling in office w/ occasional metro-area site visits Company Car OR Monthly Travel Allowance (for Qualified Candidates) Fully paid fuel expenses Great Health Benefits Package: Medical, Dental & Life Insurance Long Term Disability 401(k) plan w/ company match 10% Yearly 401(k) contribution BONUS o n top of company match Small Company Family Environment w/ paid team lunches Paid vacation, sick & holidays Pay Range: $110-$150k yearly The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
