Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification MD Board of Physicians certification Job Details CT TECH - 3-12 hr. shifts or 4- 9 hr. shifts; dayshift (plus EOW). Thursday, Friday and Saturday 8a-8:30p, Saturday and Sunday 7a-7:30p. Weekend requirement: Every Other Weekend. The types of cases that are ordered are: CT dry heads, CT dry abd & pelvis (sometimes with contract), CT Perfusions, CTA Head and Neck, CTA Chests, and GI Bleeds are the most commonly ordered exams. Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.
