Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Cardiothoracic Surgery in Kentucky

A hospital is seeking a cardiothoracic surgeon for locum tenens coverage. Northern Kentucky offers attractions from bars and nightlife and family fun to beautiful parks and gardens This position offers a 24-hour call schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM and requires board certification. Necessary certifications include BLS, ACLS, ATLS, and PALS. Experience with Heart and Lung procedures is preferred, with Vascular experience being a plus to meet practice needs. The role is supported by six Physician Assistants who first assist in surgery, take call alongside the MD, make hospital rounds, and see consults, as well as three APRNs in the office seeing patients Monday through Thursday. The EMR system used is EPIC.
