CBRS is a collection of shared facilities that broadly supports the research community on campus and externally by providing access to cutting-edge technology, expert advice, and centralized services. Purpose Provides procurement, operational, inventory, and other related business services support for the OVPR Core Facilities team with a focus on the Center for Biomedical Research Support. Responsibilities Provides procurement support. Communicates with vendors, processes purchase orders (UT Market, Point Plus, etc.), processes payment vouchers, maintains and tracks ordering, and expenses. Responsible for inventory tracking and reports. Maintains and manages inventory processes and annual equipment certification. Identifies new equipment and coordinates documentation with inventory contacts for tagging and reporting. Verifies appropriate documents are prepared when inventory items are transferred. Provides billing support. Manages the billing of monthly user charges for CBRS Core Facility services. Provides operational support. Processes and reconciles ProCards, e-billing, travel authorizations, travel reimbursements, entertainment authorization, and entertainment vouchers. Other related functions as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree with three years of experience in administrative and accounting functions. A demonstrated high level of proficiency in the use of Adobe Acrobat Professional and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel). Demonstrated ability to: communicate (written and verbal) and interact skillfully with staff and faculty; work both as a team member and independently without continuous supervision; work with overlapping projects and with sensitive and confidential information; adapt to a dynamic and deadline-driven, customer service-oriented environment. Demonstrated high level of organizational skills and attentiveness to detail. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team in a dynamic environment and a commitment to service excellence. Proven time management skills and the ability to prioritize own workload under dynamic circumstances. Knowledgeable of university resources, procurement and voucher policies, and business systems. Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Point Plus, UT Market, FRMS, DEFINE, DPUSER. Experience at the University of Texas or within a large university system. Salary Range $47,000 depending on qualifications Working Conditions May work around standard office conditions Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation This position is eligible for a hybrid Flexible Work Arrangement (FWA) with at least three days in-office per week. FWA arrangements are subject to manager approval and may shift due to changes in business needs.
