Job Posting ID: CGEMJP00260764 Role: DevOps Architect Location: United States (Remote work) Duration: 12 months extendable Delivery Role: DevOps Architect The DevOps Architect's role is to define the standards, protocols, procedures, tools to automate and manage the on-going operations and support of the infrastructure environment. The job is mostly building Infrastructure As a Code using Terraform & Python and so it involves building the necessary technical components and libraries to automate the entire AWS cloud infrastructure deployment and operational lifecycle. The DevOps Architect will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments. • Collaborate the infrastructure technical team & business teams to gather infrastructure requirements, and prioritize the requirements • Deploy 3rd party enterprise applications & custom applications on AWS through automated scripts. • Automate the entire infrastructure operational lifecycle using Terraform & Python • Provide technical guidance to the infrastructure and manage the tasks • Perform capacity planning and stakeholder reporting activities • Drive improvements to automated deployment solutions, and work with the team to implement the solutions • Manage infrastructure maintenance tasks, upgrading infrastructure, and implementing effective patch management and policies • Implement monitoring solutions using AWS services such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS Config, etc • Implement CI/CD automation using Jenkins • Automate operational processes as needed, with accuracy and in compliance with our security requirements. • Manage code deployments, fixes, updates and related processes. DevOps Architect Skills/Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering or a relevant field. • At least 7 years experience in DevOps role • AWS Solutions Architect certification is mandatory • Strong experience with AWS, Azure and with Linux/Windows infrastructure. • Strong experience in Terraform & Python • Proven experience in large cloud implementations & maintenance activities. • Must be experienced in cloud deployments of enterprise applications (such as Okta) & custom applicatio • Proven experience in automating the cloud infrastructure using Terraform & Python • Must be experienced in AWS services such as AWS EMR, AWS Glue, AWS Lake Formation, etc • Must be experienced in GitHub Actions, GitHub Source Control, CI/CD Pipelining and API Gateway • Patch management using tools such as Azure Update Management, AWS System Manager, AWS Config, etc • Must be experienced in working with Infrastructure monitoring (Tools such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS Config, DataDog, Splunk, etc) • Stellar troubleshooting skills with the ability to spot issues before they become problems • Current with industry trends, IT ops and industry best practices, and able to identify the ones we should implement.
