The Role Korn Ferry has partnered with our client to lead the search efforts for their Vice President of Talent Management in Washington, DC. This role reports directly to the Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer of the company. Purpose of the Position The Vice President of Talent Management will lead the organization's talent acquisition, talent management, and organizational development functions to advance the Human Resources pillars of "Build a Leadership Platform" and "Develop Next Generation of Leaders". The role will serve as a lead architect and overseer of the development and implementation of an organization-wide Talent Acquisition and development strategy to align the development of people with the vision, mission, and business goals of the organization. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive talent acquisition, talent management, and organizational development strategies to align with the overall organizational and Human Resources vision, mission, and strategy. Plan, implement, direct, and evaluate the programs, projects, and initiatives for the assigned functions on a strategic and operational level to ensure the organization’s move to Top Tier and Employer of Choice. Establish, build, and sustain professional contacts with key stakeholders internally and externally. Assess and monitor organizational staffing requirements and align the Talent Acquisition function to effectively and efficiently meet organizational needs. Develop innovative programs to identify, recruit, develop, integrate, and retain key talent across the organization. Partner with other Human Resource leaders to ensure an integrated talent management approach across the organization. Establish and oversee the processes and systems to determine the effectiveness, efficiency, customer satisfaction, and return-on investment for major talent management programs, services, and resources. Lead organizational diagnosis by understanding business needs (current and future), examine what’s working and what’s not, and recommend a path to positive change and enhancement of business unit/clinical performance. Introduce change management tools and methodologies to drive organizational and departmental changes and facilitate cultural transformation. Build the breadth and depth of the organization’s human capacity through performance management, competency assessment, succession planning and career development. Model leadership and managerial behavior standards consistent with those of the Leadership Council. Minimum Education and Experience Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field. 10 years of Progressive HR/Organizational Development experience, with at least 8 years leading the strategy and implementation of HR functions such as talent management, organization development, and HR consulting. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources Management or MBA. SPHR, LEAN certification, Organizational Development certification preferred.
