Job Summary The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all maintenance activities within the Plant. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of industrial machinery and equipment. Job Responsibilities Maintenance Strategy Development: Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive maintenance strategy that aligns with the organization's overall business objectives Team Leadership: Recruit, hire, train, and manage a team of skilled maintenance technicians to ensure optimal performance and productivity Equipment Maintenance: Oversee and execute the preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and predictive maintenance of all industrial equipment and machinery (This responsibility is both hands on work as well as coaching others on performing the work) Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards, promoting a safe and healthy work environment Problem Solving: Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime and improve efficiency Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement initiatives to enhance the overall reliability and efficiency of maintenance operations Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external maintenance vendors and contractors, ensuring that services are delivered on time and within budget Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to maintenance activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions Job Requirements 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance management Strong technical knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment (electrical, mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic) Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a team effectively Preferred experience with CMMS, predictive maintenance, lean manufacturing Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong organizational and time management skills Proficiency in maintenance management software and tools What CRH Offers You Highly competitive base pay Comprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programs Group retirement savings program Health and wellness programs A diverse and inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion About CRH CRH has a long and proud heritage.
