As a Maintenance Electrician with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you'll be working in a college performing highly skilled maintenance and repair to electrical systems and other building components to ensure such equipment is operating as specified. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities: Maintenance and repair to these electrical systems: Branch circuits and sub panel installations Ridged, EMT, And PVC conduits Light fixtures, motors, fans, equipment, appliances, and associated devices Examines and tests elements of electrical systems to locate obvious faults, such as blown fuses, short circuits, broken wires, loose connections, and worn motor brushes. As required, estimates materials needed and records time and materials expended on each work order Reads and understands blueprints and electrical schematics. Assists in conducting inspections of work performed by electrical contractors. Keeps accurate records of material, labor and equipment costs on assigned tasks. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent A minimum of 5 years of experience as a journeyman electrician Possession of a valid Oregon General Supervising Electricians License.
