Our client’s Los Angeles office seeks a Banking Partner to collaborate with industry-leading professionals in delivering top-tier legal solutions to global financial institutions. As part of their highly reputed team, you'll leverage your expertise in litigation, arbitration, and regulatory investigations to protect clients' interests and develop innovative risk management strategies. Responsibilities: Leading and advising on complex cross-border disputes involving investment banks, domestic and international banks, mortgage companies, credit card issuers, fintech, and insurance firms. Managing high-value cases, such as defending proceedings related to RMBS transactions and credit default SWAP claims. Representing clients in litigation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution forums. Handling regulatory investigations and enforcement actions by global financial regulators. Overseeing consumer financial services litigation, including defending clients against consumer class actions and individual claims under federal and state laws (e.g., TILA, HOEPA, RESPA, FCRA, and FDCPA). Developing tailored, cost-effective strategies to resolve disputes and mitigate future risk exposures. Qualifications: A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and bar admission in California. A proven track record in banking and finance litigation, with extensive experience advising financial institutions. Expertise in handling complex disputes and cross-border matters, including regulatory investigations. In-depth knowledge of federal and state statutes affecting consumer financial services litigation. A commitment to delivering timely, pragmatic, and commercially focused legal solutions.
