Job Title: Air Permitting Specialist Location: Colorado (Supporting New Mexico, Wyoming, and Colorado) Client: Leading Energy Services Company About the Opportunity We are recruiting on behalf of a forward-thinking Energy Services company seeking an Air Permitting Specialist to support compliance and sustainability initiatives across New Mexico, Wyoming, and Colorado. This role is essential for ensuring regulatory adherence while driving environmentally responsible operations in the energy sector. Key Responsibilities: Air Permitting & Compliance: Manage the preparation, submission, and tracking of air quality permits and compliance reports for federal, state, and local agencies in the tri-state region. Data Management: Compile emissions data for regulatory inventories and develop reports to ensure ongoing compliance. Collaboration: Partner with engineering, operations, and environmental teams to support emissions management and align with organizational objectives. Regulatory Monitoring: Stay current on air quality regulations and advise on operational impacts, including Clean Air Act requirements and state-specific standards. Technology Integration: Assist in implementing and maintaining emissions management systems and tools. What We’re Looking For: Expertise in Air Quality Permitting: Strong knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations, including Clean Air Act programs (NSPS, MACT, Title V) and GHG reporting. Energy Sector Experience: Familiarity with oil and gas operations, emissions management practices, and environmental compliance in the energy industry. Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL or Python preferred). Problem Solver: Capable of managing complex regulatory processes and deadlines with minimal oversight. Educational Background: High school diploma or GED required; certifications or degrees in environmental science, engineering, or a related field preferred. Compensation & Benefits: Our client offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $135,000, based on experience, along with a robust benefits package: Medical, dental, and vision insurance. 401(k) with employer match.
