Senior SDET Consultant

Job Summary: The person will be hired to be a Senior SDET and work on Client's brokerage trading platform (Green Meadows). They will need to execute end-to-end trading for equity and crypto using Java, Karate, and AWS cloud technologies. The hired person will be testing Java/Micro-services production level code to support automation testing of REST API Webservices and processes involved through Behavior Driven Development (BDD) Cucumber. Key Responsibilities: • Execute end-to-end trading for equity and crypto using Java, Karate, and AWS cloud technologies. • Test Java/Micro-services production level code to support automation testing of REST API Webservices through Behavior Driven Development (BDD) Cucumber. • Set up the automation testing framework, Selenium grid using Kubernetes for UI application testing, and run tests from Jenkins. • Recently set up AWS full-scale Kubernetes Selenium grid with cross-browser testing platform. Required Qualifications: • Strong technical interest in financial services and ability to research and learn new technologies. • Ability to think strategically and accept technical direction. • Strong leadership and organizational prioritization skills. • Experience working with geographically distributed teams. • Ability to create automated test scripts and perform functional testing to benefit the brokerage trading program. • Strong experience with Java (adept with concurrency, design patterns, threads, etc.). • Experience with Cucumber, Karate, and Jira. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with AWS cloud technologies. • Familiarity with Kubernetes and Jenkins. \n Education: Bachelors Degree
