CANDIDATE SCREENING QUESTIONS: - If you want to create a brand-new service, how does the Rest interface will look like and what kind of high-level code blocks you will be writing. - How authentication and authorization work in Python API's. - If you want to write the CURD operations, how will you write in Rest API's. - How do you create a test file/test cases and how will you test a route. - How will you deploy your code and in detail about CI/CD Role: Python Engineer Client: Capital One Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid - 3 days onsite weekly) Max Rate: $73/hr Length of Assignment: 6 months with possible extension Contract to Hire Note: There will be client interview for every position and any for Capone experience in past, their tenure and previous client feedback will be verified. Python: Senior Python Developers who are comfortable in writing production software in Python. Superficial scripting knowledge is not sufficient. 2. AWS: Proficiency in AWS is a must. AWS knowledge of Lambdas & Step functions is a huge plus. 3. New Relic is a must 4. RESTful APIs and microservices architecture : Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture, and an understanding of how to design and implement them effectively Required skills: • Python, Pytest, Unitest, new relic are all mandatory • Strong Proficiency in Python programming language, including experience with frameworks such as FastAPI • AWS Lambdas & AWS Stepfunctions is a huge plus. • 3 years of experience in Python & AWS. • 6 years of total experience Role/Responsibilities: • The position is focused on python development of components for a software application platform • The candidate will develop and support the middle layer of the application to build, test, and deploy RESTful micro services, create shared services components • Engineer capable of designing solutions, writing code, testing code, automating test and deployment • Automation Testing: Pytest, Unitest, Monkey patch, pytest-mockito etc Additional Sills: Skills: Category Name Required Importance Experience Software Skills AWS Open Search (Amazon Web Services) No 1 Software Skills Python No 1
