About the job: The F&B Event Coordinator is responsible for planning banquet event services for the casino. This role requires an individual who can effectively coordinate multiple events simultaneously by working closely with clients, facilitating communication between patrons and the culinary department, as well as interdepartmental communication, and coordinating with vendors to ensure smooth operations, while maintaining high standards of customer service and satisfaction. Job Duties Coordinates the setup, execution, and breakdown of all banquet event functions, including but not limited to corporate, tribal, and other special events. Meets with clients to understand event goals, budget, and detail preferences, as well as prepares banquet event orders (BEOs), timelines, and floor plans. Serves as the primary point of contact for clients before, during, and after their event, ensuring clear communication and the handling of any issues that arise promptly. Ensures a personalized and high-touch experience for clients, assisting with event details, vendor coordination, and last-minute changes. Liaises between clients, patrons and the culinary department to ensure any food restrictions are adhered to. Coordinates with external vendors to ensure services are delivered as required. Ensures contracts with vendors are in place and adhered to, managing any logistical requirements or changes to vendor services. Demonstrates consistent attention to developing and maintaining professional client, patron and vendor relationships. Develops event schedules and coordinates with all involved internal departments to ensure timeline and successful execution. Maintains the highest standards of service and presentation for all events, ensuring proper food and beverage service, room setup, and technical support. Monitors event budgets and costs, ensuring events remain within budget while maintaining quality standards. Tracks event outcomes and feedback and conducts post-event follow-up with clients to ensure satisfaction and improve event offerings and services. Maintains records of event details, contracts, and communications for future reference and reporting purposes. Liaises between F&B department leadership and Marketing to ensure all creative requests are submitted, reviewed for accuracy and deployed successfully. Liaises between F&B and Player Development for current and future marketing activations. Ensures compliance with casino policies, health and safety regulations, and licensing requirements. Performs other tasks as assigned. Requirements Must be 21 years or older. Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in event coordination, preferably within a casino, hotel, or large-scale venue environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Familiarity with food and beverage service standards, AV equipment, and event logistics. Working knowledge of company internal controls and policies and procedures. Professional demeanor and strong customer service orientation.
