Senior Project Manager Scott Humphrey has partnered with a large and reputable general contractor to assist in finding a Assistant Construction Manager for their headquarters in Austin, TX. As the Assistant Construction Manager, you will be an integral part of a team that oversees the construction of Commercial projects for corporate build outs; project quality control, subcontractor coordination, daily logs/project documentation, safety, and inspections. Job Description: Coordinate and oversee daily subcontractor project assignments Ensure a safe workplace that meets company standards and OSHA requirements Schedule and monitor material deliveries Perform daily quality control walks Create punch lists for trades on each phase of construction Organize city inspections Maintain job site paperwork: daily reports, material order and delivery, employee safety certifications Effectively collaborate with clients and other team members, engineers, architects, inspectors, and city officials Attend project status meetings and assist in problem solving efforts Qualifications: 2 years commercial construction in General Contractor. High school diploma or equivalent from accredited institution.
