Contract Analyst

We have an Oil & Gas company looking for a Contracts Analyst to join their team in Houston, TX Industry: Oil & Gas Location: Houston, TX (Greenway Plaza area) / The Woodlands, TX / Work-From-Home (WFH) Schedule : 9/80 and Hybrid (2 days WFH / 2 days in The Woodlands / 1 day in Greenway Plaza area) Work type: W2 Contract / Non-exempt Contract Duration: 1 year with potential for long-term extension Pay Rate: Hourly 1.5x OT Benefits: Medical / Dental / Vision / 401(k) offered Key Responsibilities : Provide post-award commercial support for supply chain contracts in compliance with company policies and procedures. Manage vendor registration and change requests in Ariba, including creating and tracking vendor master tickets. Supply current contracts or approved legal forms to the Commercial Strategy Lead as needed. Ensure all contract-related documents are accurately uploaded to the designated contract record with proper naming conventions. Create and maintain a system price book to facilitate electronic billing and payments in SAP and Ariba. Assist operations in resolving contract disputes, escalating to the Commercial Strategy Lead when necessary. Support suppliers with invoice disputes and contract-related inquiries, escalating to Accounts Payable or the Buyer Lead as required. Implement system changes to contracts as requested by the Buyer, such as pricing adjustments, term updates, or administrative modifications. Generate and analyze internal reports on supplier or category contract spend and terms. Assist in preparing weekly reports, such as approved vendor lists, and daily reports, such as open purchase requisitions. Provide additional support to Buyers, including maintaining hardcopy records and addressing ad hoc requirements. Qualifications : Proficiency in SAP (preferred). Strong Excel skills. Bachelor's degree required.
