Air & Ocean Freight Agent – Import & Export About the Role: Altius Talent is seeking an experienced Air & Ocean Freight Agent to join our client’s dynamic logistics team. This role is integral to the seamless handling of both import and export air and ocean freight, providing end-to-end (A-Z) process oversight. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the logistics process from booking to final delivery and have a deep working knowledge of CargoWise to support efficient operations. Key Responsibilities: Manage the full import and export process for both air and ocean freight, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Coordinate all aspects of shipments, including booking, documentation, customs clearance, tracking, and final delivery. Utilize CargoWise for tracking, updating, and managing shipment details and related data. Communicate with clients, vendors, and carriers to ensure timely and effective resolution of any issues. Maintain accurate records for each shipment and handle invoicing with attention to detail. Requirements: Proven experience in air and ocean freight operations, covering the complete A-Z process. Proficiency in CargoWise is essential. Strong organizational skills, with an ability to manage multiple shipments and prioritize effectively. Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal teams, clients, and external partners. Keen attention to detail to ensure compliance and accuracy in all documentation.
