Your new company: HAYS are representing a Real Estate Developer based in DC who are looking to hire an Assistant Construction Manager to work on luxury residential projects in DC. Looking to connect with professionals with 2 years of construction experience in the role of Construction Manager, Superintendent, Carpenter or Assistant Project Manager. The company are based in Washington DC and are experts within luxury residential single family housing projects, as well as multifamily apartments and condos within the DC district. Your new role: Reporting into and providing support to an experienced Project Manager for the successful delivery of luxury residential construction projects in DC. Communicate with subcontractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success. Collect and efficiently file project documentation including all purchase orders, change orders and client interaction. Communicate and support in the buyout process of subcontractors. Take responsibility of material ordering and tracking for all active projects. Ensure all certificates of insurance for each subcontractor are accurate, current and in compliance with the contract documents. Ensure all required safety and compliance regulation documents are in order. Visit job sites as and when required. What you'll need to succeed: 2 years’ experience of construction experience working as a Construction Manager, Superintendent/Supervisors, Carpenter or Foreman. Experience in working on residential housing and/or multifamily apartments or condominium projects in DC. Comfortable in working 5 days a week in DC, either office or field based. A degree is not required, employer values work experience. Technology savvy. Committed to achieving long-term, professional growth.
