Maintenance Technician

This position plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of Canik USA’s manufacturing facility. Responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment according to schedule. This includes lubricating parts, replacing worn components, and inspecting for potential issues. Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair. Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform repairs in a timely manner to minimize production disruptions. Utilize technical manuals, diagnostic tools, and your mechanical expertise to identify and resolve problems. Supports outside suppliers performing equipment and building maintenance. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of equipment and prevent unexpected failures. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance. Performs general facilities repairs drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures. Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities. Maintain inventory levels of spare parts and supplies necessary for equipment maintenance and repairs. Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of required parts. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance activities. Conduct regular safety inspections of equipment and work areas to identify hazards and implement corrective actions. Work closely with other maintenance technicians, engineers, and production personnel to troubleshoot complex issues, implement improvements, and support continuous process optimization. Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers. Knowledge facilities maintenance. Ability to use hand tools and power tools. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently as well as with a team. Capable of operating in an evolving and often unstructured environment. Ability to multi-task and switch gears quickly. Excellent attention to detail.
