A global automotive company is looking for a PLM Systems Analyst o support and enhance the AHEAD PLM tool, optimizing its performance and ensuring a seamless user experience across North American facilities. This position is central to maintaining product lifecycle efficiency, addressing user needs, and facilitating the tool's continuous improvement. Responsibilities: • Serve as the main point of contact for AHEAD users across North American sites, providing timely assistance, troubleshooting issues, and answering queries. • Gather, document, and analyze user feedback to identify issues or areas for improvement, converting these into actionable Jira tickets for tracking and follow-up. • Coordinate with internal IT teams, offshore developers, and the Japan-based team to address technical needs, align on project updates, and implement solutions that enhance the AHEAD system. • Actively support the AHEAD tool within the Project Lifecycle Management (PLM) framework, aligning it with lifecycle requirements. • Conduct testing for updates, bug fixes, and enhancements in QA and ITB environments before full rollout to ensure changes meet quality standards and user expectations. • Document solutions for common issues, create user training materials, and maintain clear records of system changes. • Utilize reporting tools like Qlik Sense or Power BI (if available) to track and visualize system performance, user feedback, and common issues, contributing to data-driven improvements. • Leverage knowledge of CATIA V5 and V6 (with a preference for V6), PLM applications (AHEAD/ARRIS), and other system tools to support integration, identify potential issues, and optimize tool performance. Required Skillset: • 3-5 years of experience in PLM environments, ideally with exposure to tools such as AHEAD, ARRIS, or similar systems. • Knowledge of CATIA V5/V6 is preferred, with V6 prioritized due to future system integrations. • Strong communication skills and experience in customer-facing roles, ideally with help desk or issue resolution responsibilities. • Ability to translate technical information for end users and troubleshoot system issues effectively. • Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional and cross-cultural environments, especially collaborating with offshore teams and global partners. • Knowledge of reporting and data visualization tools (e.g., Qlik Sense, Power BI) is beneficial. • Familiarity with Jira for issue tracking, QA/ITB testing environments, and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint). • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or related discipline. Bonus Skillset: • Previous experience in an R&D environment. • Location: Raymond, OH (Hybrid schedule – working onsite 3 days/week) Type: Contract Duration: 12 months
