GCP/Snowflake Cloud Architect

Role Overview We seek an experienced Solution Architect for our customer with a strong background in data architecture, engineering, ELT solution design, and project delivery. This role requires over 10 years in data solutions, with 3 years specifically on Snowflake, Google BigQuery, or dbt, and a solid understanding of Hadoop or Teradata migrations. The candidate will be pivotal in managing large tech accounts and delivering solutions that align with business goals. Key Responsibilities Lead design for end-to-end data cloud solutions, including migrations from Hadoop or Teradata to platforms like Snowflake or Google BigQuery. Partner with clients to understand business needs, creating scalable, cost-effective data solutions. Manage large tech accounts, ensuring successful project delivery, client satisfaction, and growth. Develop data pipelines, transformation frameworks, and automation solutions using tools like dbt. Drive cloud adoption, data transformation, and AI-driven strategies aligned with client outcomes. Work closely with engineering, product, and client teams to ensure smooth project implementation. Guide junior architects and technical teams, fostering a high-performance culture. Continuously update knowledge on Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, and FinOps trends. Qualifications 10 years in solution architecture, data engineering, or analytics. 3 years in Snowflake, Google BigQuery, or dbt; experience with Hadoop or Teradata migrations. Prior experience in IT services with large Fortune 500 accounts. Strong ability to convey technical concepts to diverse stakeholders. Growth-oriented, entrepreneurial, and customer-focused. Preferred Skills Familiarity with AI/ML solutions and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). Knowledge in data governance, security best practices, and FinOps.
