Scope of Work for Construction Manager Project : 400MW/800MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) - 2 years of experience Location : Alvin, Texas Looking for 2 years of specific experience to BESS 5 years of substation experience 1. Project Oversight and Execution Project Planning and Scheduling Develop a comprehensive project execution plan, aligning with company timeline and quality expectations. Ensure project milestones, critical paths, and timelines are met and completed as per contracts. Resource Management Ensure sufficient resources (manpower, materials, equipment) are allocated to meet the project schedule. Optimize site staffing and deployment strategies for efficiency and safety. Subcontractor Coordination and Oversight Oversee subcontractor activities, ensuring adherence to contractual agreements, project specifications, and timelines. Conduct periodic performance evaluations and manage corrective actions as necessary. Safety Management Promote and enforce company safety protocols and standards across all site activities. Communicate and reinforce safety procedures with subcontractors and other teams to minimize on-site risks. 2. Site and Vendor Management Vendor and Stakeholder Engagement Foster relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders, ensuring smooth coordination throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate with third-party vendors for inventory control and site logistics management. Inventory Control and Site Logistics Oversee site inventory management, ensuring accurate tracking of materials and equipment. Coordinate logistics for material deliveries, on-site storage, and movement, with an emphasis on efficiency and orderliness. 3. Documentation and Compliance Daily Reporting Prepare and submit daily progress reports, covering key aspects like site conditions, task progress, safety compliance, and any project deviations. Ensure daily reports are submitted accurately and timely to maintain transparency and accountability. Regulatory and Compliance Management Oversee documentation related to company compliance, ensuring all submissions meet Texas standards for energy storage projects. Facilitate and verify necessary documentation from subcontractors for regulatory compliance, submitting as required to company. Quality Assurance Review work completed by subcontractors for quality compliance with project standards. Implement corrective measures for any discrepancies or issues identified, ensuring company quality expectations are met. 4. Commissioning Support Commissioning Documentation and Review Coordinate with the commissioning team to verify and organize pre-commissioning documentation. Participate in pre-cold, cold, and hot commissioning activities as required, ensuring a thorough transition from construction to operational readiness. Additional Responsibilities – Additional Scope The Construction Manager may also be requested to oversee the following as needed: Crane and Rigging Operations : Coordinate crane lifts, rigging, and other heavy equipment usage in collaboration with CES’s rigging team. Permitting Management : Manage records, contracts, and permits as required by local regulations and company internal processes.
