Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Director of Supply Chain is integral to effectively supporting the growth of the business with retailers globally while managing all supply chain costs. This position is responsible for the management of sales orders from receipt to delivery. Other key areas of responsibility include management of 3PL service providers, customer compliance, inventory management and leadership of direct report. · Secure warehouse, ocean and OTR transportation capacity to service all TAG customers effectively · Negotiate 3PL contracts and identify on going opportunities for cost reduction/avoidance · Oversee performance of 3PL’s to meet or exceed TAG’s customer requirements · Ensure timely and accurate update NetSuite - sales orders, transfers, receipts, and other transactions · Proactively identify issues related to order MABD dates, inventory shortages, or invoicing · Lead integration of new EDI customers and ensure all trading partner transactions are being transmitted accurately · Ensure all sales orders (manual and EDI) are invoiced within 24 hours of receiving necessary shipping documents · Approve all carton markings and oversee price ticketing requirements ensuring adherence to customer compliance · Track wholesale orders and ensure all BOL’s/POD’s/invoices are available to investigate customer deductions · Oversee 3PL performance to minimize chargebacks · Collaboratively work with sales team to resolve any pricing, MABD, quantity, invoices or other issues · Assist with supply chain analyses and review of expenses · Review and approve 3PL invoices based on services provided and contracted rates and track vs annual plan · Research and file appropriate disputes for chargebacks · Collaborate with 3PL’s to offset chargebacks due to service utilizing timely and proper documentation · Assist team with logistics of customer sample process and execution oversight · Develop and be responsible for the supply chain budget and ongoing forecasts · Distribute supply chain metrics including container status, ocean freight and other cost, orders shipped etc. · Provide leadership and coaching to direct reports · Travel to 3PL and co-packer facilities for meetings and oversight as needed · Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures · Ongoing communication with China, Malaysia and U.S. suppliers. Will have regular scheduled evening calls Physical Requirements: · Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. · Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards · Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly during all communications.
