Your Role As the Lead Estimator, you’ll be at the forefront of project planning, ensuring bids are competitive and accurate. You'll work closely with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to develop detailed estimates that drive the success of construction projects. Key Responsibilities Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to develop accurate cost estimates. Lead pre-construction efforts, including quantity take-offs and cost analysis. Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to obtain competitive pricing. Develop detailed bid packages and present proposals to stakeholders. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or timelines. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, and local construction regulations. Mentor and guide junior estimators to enhance team performance. What We’re Looking For Experience: Minimum 2 years in construction estimating, with a proven track record of success. Technical Skills: Proficient in estimating software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite. Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy in cost analysis and documentation. Team Player: Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Leadership: Experience leading estimation teams or mentoring junior staff is a plus.
