Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $1,727 per week

Certification Details BLS ACLS PALS TNCC (Preferred) ATCN (Preferred) Job Details A large hospital in Arizona is looking for experienced ER/Emergency Room RNs for a travel assignment. The right candidate will have 2 years of experience. Job Requirements Must have 2 years ER experience. Must hold an active AZ license or compact. No first time travelers. Must have 1 year of trauma level 1 experience. Must have Cerner experience. Basic Dysrhythmia Exam Required PRIOR to sending the contract. 2 attempts, if failed, candidate is DNU with CS AZ and Sacramento for 6 months. Float Policy: Can be floated between St. Joseph's Main, St. Joseph's Westgate, and the 2 Free Standing ERs in Litchfield Park & Glendale. (4 facilities total). Schedule Information Contract length: 13 weeks. Schedule: 7a-7p, 7p-7a, 11a-11p, 1p-1a. 4 total weekend shifts per 4 weeks. Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Unit Specific Information Unit: ED / Trauma Acute beds: 36, Subacute beds: 54, Trauma bays: 6 (no travelers). Ratios: 1:4. EMR: Cerner. Tele: Phillips monitors, must be able to read strips. Vents: Managed by RT. Hospitalist or Intensivists in house. IV Team: Core RNs are US trained. RT 24/7: Yes. Pharmacy 24/7: Yes, Pharmacist in ER 10hrs/day. Floating: Float within ER. Additional Details Medical Solutions Pre-Screens, if clinical recommends AUTO OFFER. Pass Fail SIMs Lab: Competence in Foley catheter insertion & central line dressing changes. SIMs lab is pass/fail & maintaining sterile field is essential.
