Job Title: Locum Tenens Physician Job Specialty: Urology Job Duration: 29 Weeks Shift: Day - 5x8 - 9am - 5pm, 40 Hours per Week Guaranteed Hours: N/A Experience: Fellowship - 3 years License: Not specified Certifications: - ABLS: Yes - ACLS: Yes - BLS: Yes Must-Have: - Urology General Skills - Adult Urology Expertise - Laparoscopic Surgeries - Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy - Incontinence Procedures - Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL) Job Description: - Handle 15 patient encounters per shift within a department of 358 beds. - Board certification is not required, but board-certified eligible candidates are encouraged to apply. - Perform advanced urology techniques including laparoscopic surgeries and percutaneous nephrolithotomy. - Preferred skills include ureteroscopy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, pelvic node dissection, and robotic surgery. - Manage shift duties focused on general adult urology, excluding pediatric and neonate cases. - Handle incontinence procedures and required endoscopic techniques. - Collaborate with a trauma level 4 facility, with no pediatric trauma level. - Estimated credentialing timeframe is approximately 30 days. - Opportunities for lodging recommendations in the area include Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn, and Airbnb.
