Brief Job Overview [This opportunity is contingent upon award] USP is recruiting for a Rockville-based senior leadership position, responsible for providing financial and operational oversite for a large, global health program. The Director will work closely with and provide oversight to a team of resources based in Rockville, regional hubs and country offices. The position, which is contingent on award, is responsible for high level financial management and operational stewardship to include contracts and grants/sub-awards management and oversight of procurement (goods and services) globally, to enable the timely and effective implementation of the programs technical activities. Who USP is Looking For? The successful candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of our mission, commitment to excellence through inclusive and equitable behaviors and practices, ability to quickly build credibility with stakeholders, along with the following competencies and experience: Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field Minimum of 8 10 years relevant experience leading financial and operational management of USAID-funded programs at regional and/or global level. The successful applicant will possess significant experience managing all aspects of finance, grants, contracts, sub-awards and procurement on USAID-funded programs.
