Join us as a Summer Associate for the Commercial Leadership Development Program (CLDP),a highly selective program that develops leaders by incorporating intensive on-the-job training with supplemental development and interaction with ourbusiness leaders. In this highly visible development program, you’ll have the opportunity to influence strategic organizational initiatives and work on meaningful assignments that drive our business forward. CLDP Associatesuse business & management knowledge, problem solving, and relationship management skills during high-impact strategic assignments designed with the purpose of building a sustainable pipeline of high potential Commercial Talent at Takeda. Here, everyone matters, and you will be a vital contributor to our inspiring, bold mission. The goal of the 12- week internship is to provide the most comprehensible pharmaceutical experience possible through a variety of projects under the supervision of a commercial leader at Takeda. At the completion of the internship, the Summer Associate should have a thorough understanding of marketing and sales in the pharmaceutical industry. Responsibilities of our Summer Associates will vary according to the individual project teams. Summer Associates will act in the same capacity as a product manager participating in all product management activities, business unit meetings, and planning sessions. Previous Summer Associates have participated in New Product Development, Product Marketing, and Managed Markets functions. Each Summer Associate may be assigned a specific project that would be completed by the end of the internship. This would be in addition to routine activities designed to achieve the goal of a complete product management experience. Due to the nature of Takeda's business and culture, Summer Associates are given projects that are challenging and necessary to our continued success as an organization. During the internship, Summer Associates will gain exposure to many of Takeda's business functions. Internship Details: Opportunity to work on a business-critical project(s) that directly impacts the patients we serve Internship opportunities across our US Business Units including Neuroscience, Gastroenterology, Rare Diseases, Plasma Derived Therapies, Patient Services, Commercial Operations, US Public Affairs Mentorship provided by a Senior Commercial Leader Internship workshops and Executive Leadership speaker series events Cohort team building and professional networking events Conversion opportunity to join the full-time CLDP upon graduation Qualifications: Three to five years of prior work experience Must be enrolled in a U. S. accredited university for the semester before and immediately following the internship. MBA student with at least one year of university studies prior to internship Experience in MS Office applications Previous experience in marketing, sales, and/or market research preferred Previous experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry preferred, but not necessary Superior communication skills: written, oral, interpersonal and presentation Takeda Compensation and Benefits Summary We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. For Location: USA - MA - Cambridge U.S. Hourly Wage Range: $12.50 - $19.57 The estimated hourly wage range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual hourly wage offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location. U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term incentives. U.S.based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S.based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
