Sycamore Specialty Underwriters, LLC is a Michigan-based property and casualty holding company. and we are looking for a Territory Manager (Texas - San Antonio area) will be responsible for driving revenue, profitability, growth, and awareness through key partner agencies and the development of new agency relationships. The Company specializes wholesale broker, focusing on hospitality, cannabis, energy, and niche personal lines dwellings. We are seeking to hire a central Texas-based Territory Manager. They will educate agents on the products and resources available to them and will have direct daily contact with the agency force. Responsibilities Provide leadership to independent agency partners through coaching, feedback, development goals, and performance management. Be the subject matter expert for the Company suite of products. Work with management to develop or enhance the marketing of product(s). Act as a liaison between the independent agent and Company. Manage and maximize overall revenue, profitability, and growth of personal lines programs. Work with other departments within the company to further the relationship, identify potential new agency partners, and assess new business opportunity. Answer presale product questions and assist agents in providing solutions to their customers as needed. Educate agents on the products and resources to help them become as self-sufficient as possible. Tracking of sales interactions. Stay informed of new developments in the insurance market through membership organizations, conventions, and insurance agency partners. Represent the applicable territory in meetings and speak to performance, program/promotion results, and current initiatives. Assist with internal marketing efforts designed to increase sales. Identify and evaluate potential new agency partners. Education and/or Experience 5 years of Insurance sales, marketing, underwriting or product management experience. Prior experience coaching or mentoring others. Skills/Abilities Strong cross-functional team skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with management and agency partners. History of building and maintaining relationships. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (excel, word, etc.).
