Art Director / Designer Role Summary: The dynamic team at OvareGroup is seeking an Art Director who can lead a team of creative professionals in the execution of visual strategies that communicate compelling brand narratives. This role requires a deep understanding of graphic design, typography, and layout, coupled with the ability to oversee the production of creative solutions that resonate with diverse audiences. This position will begin as a three month temporary assignment (benefits eligible) with the opportunity to turn into a permanent placement. Key Responsibilities: Demonstrate expertise in the most up-to-date design programs, including Adobe Creative Suite Collaborate with the creative team, marketing team and clients to define project objectives, set design aesthetics and ensure brand consistency Ensure visual communication and brand standards are met across various media (through familiarity with client brand guidelines) Develop conceptual frameworks for multi-platform campaigns including print, digital, social, OOH and other marketing activations Manage the entire lifecycle of projects, from conception through execution, while adhering to budget and timeline constraints Present concepts and designs to stakeholders, providing insight into creative decisions and responding to feedback effectively Organize and prioritize work effectively, and be able to pivot as needed Possesses strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with managers and technology development teams to implement designs Work quickly under tight deadlines and take personal responsibility for on-time deliverables that adhere to agency standards Proactive research and pursuance of ideas for professional development to improve craft Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in Art Direction/Design from a four-year university OR equivalent combination of education and experience 5 years of experience as an Art Director in design-focused roles with strong conceptual thinking (agency experience preferred). A diverse portfolio showcasing a strong aesthetic sense across various media formats, including print, digital, and social. Expert-level proficiency in design software, including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and other industry-standard tools. TV and video experience that includes storyboarding during the early development stages. On-site production experience and overseeing of video editing Knowledge of and ability to use editorial and animation programs (After Effects, Premiere Pro) is a significant plus The ability to do illustrations is also a plus
