Certification Details BLS ACLS Job Details TRAVEL RN ICU 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN A HOPSITAL SETTING REQUIRED MUST HAVE ACTIVE COMPACT LICENSE AT SUBMISSION BLS REQUIRED Job Requirements Medical and Surgical ICU experience ACLS/BLS required AIBP experience CCRN preferred Schedule Information Self-scheduling encouraged EOW OT ok if available flexible scheduling Unit Specific Information Number of Beds: 8 Patient Ratios: 2:1 Procedures performed on unit: Ventilator care, Therapeutic Hypothermia, PCI/STEMI, IABP, invasive hemodynamic monitoring, TEE/cardioversion, temp pacer, Sepsis, Stroke/TPA, DKA ICU RNs are responders for Code Blue and Rapid Response Team Dress Code: Professional scrubs and appearance at all times Additional Details Unit staffing description: Mixed patient population, open ICU, goal staffing 4 RNs 24/7 Type of equipment: GE B650 cardiac monitors, vents, Gaymar cooling Documentation system: Meditech Floating policy: ICU may float to critical care or intermediate care areas when needed Patient Experience requirements: AIDET validation during orientation, unit is focused on Nurse Communication, white board use, hourly rounding, bedside care conference/hand off
