Technical Project Manager Start Date: December 2, 2024 Contract Duration: 12-18 months Location: Onsite in El Segundo, CA Role Overview The Technical Project Manager (TPM) will manage one of six workstreams within an M&A integration program. The focus will be on integrations and data migrations, working closely with both internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities Project Management Oversee integrations and data migrations using tools like Informatica, Penta, Boomi, Snowflake, and Cloudera. Develop and manage work plans, aligning stakeholders and ensuring milestones are met over a 12-18 month timeline. Navigate ambiguity, shaping the workstream and setting a clear work plan. Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate with stakeholders from both the purchasing and selling companies to identify and engage key contributors. Act as a liaison between technical teams, external system integrators, and parallel workstreams. Team Coordination Supervise integrators working on technical aspects, including Salesforce, Boomi, and Snowflake. Collaborate with other project managers overseeing related streams (e.g., AWS infrastructure migration, Salesforce CRM, subscription billing systems). Technical Oversight Verify documentation and ensure that deliverables meet requirements at critical project milestones. Maintain RAD logs and support Agile/Scrum methodologies to manage workflows effectively. Qualifications and Preferences Technical Knowledge Hands-on experience with integration tools (e.g., Boomi, Snowflake). Ability to engage confidently with technical teams; developer experience is a bonus but not mandatory. Project Management Experience Strong background in managing M&A integrations, particularly in divestiture scenarios. Skilled in coordinating across multiple workstreams within a broader program. Proficiency in Agile/Scrum; workstreams operate in sprints. Soft Skills Ability to structure and manage ambiguity. Experience in leading independent workstreams while aligning with larger program goals. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Industry Flexibility Experience in technology integration from web companies is highly valued; legal industry experience is not a strict requirement. Additional Details Travel: Minimal (5-10%); primarily for design sessions and UAT workshops, mostly in Minnesota. Reporting: Reports to the VP and CIO. Duration: 12-18 months.
