Human Resources Director (On-site) Position Overview: Our client seeks a dynamic and strategic Human Resources Director to lead and transform our HR function. This role is pivotal in driving organizational excellence and fostering a culture of high performance, innovation, and accountability within the construction industry. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with technical expertise, emotional intelligence, and a proven track record of delivering impactful results during times of change. The HR Director will oversee a broad range of functions, including policy and procedure overhaul, 401(k) management, employee relations, and the implementation of a new ERP system and HRIS. This role requires someone who can inspire, sell a compelling vision, and lead enterprise-wide change initiatives with agility and precision. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals to support a workforce of diverse skill sets in the construction industry. Partner with leadership to design and execute initiatives that drive cultural transformation and organizational development. Serve as a change agent, promoting innovation and continuous improvement across HR practices. HR Systems and Compliance: Lead the implementation of a new ERP system and HRIS, ensuring seamless integration and functionality for all stakeholders. Oversee legal compliance, ensuring all HR policies and procedures adhere to federal, state, and local regulations. Regularly review and update policies to maintain alignment with best practices and operational needs. Performance Management and Employee Engagement: Develop and oversee performance management systems that drive accountability and continuous feedback. Foster an inclusive and motivating environment to enhance employee engagement and retention. Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees on complex employee relations matters. Talent Acquisition and Development: Drive full-cycle recruitment efforts to attract top talent and build high-performance teams. Implement leadership development programs to grow internal talent pipelines. Design and deliver training initiatives to enhance workforce capabilities. Benefits Administration and Financial Oversight: Oversee 401(k) management and other benefits programs, ensuring effective administration and compliance. Partner with finance and operations to align HR initiatives with budgetary goals. Key Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred). 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably within the construction or related industries. Proven experience with ERP and HRIS implementation. Expertise in strategic planning, performance management, organizational design, and legal compliance. Demonstrated success in leading enterprise-wide change initiatives. Exceptional interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence (EQ). Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
