As one of the grant awardees by the Department of Energy, we specialize in developing a new class of polyester materials derived from CO2. Our mission is to create CO2-derived polymer for manufacturing consumer products with negative carbon emissions and sustainable properties. Role Description We are seeking a talented Postdoctoral Researcher with a strong background in catalysis, inorganic chemistry, or materials chemistry. The successful candidate will play a key role in advancing our research on innovative chemical processes and materials. This position involves designing, synthesizing, and characterizing new materials, collaborating with academic and industry partners, and contributing to our mission of developing sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions. Responsibilities Conduct laboratory research to advance innovative chemical processes and materials for sustainable applications. Leverage laboratory experience to troubleshoot and refine experimental methodologies. Analyze and interpret data from material characterization and performance evaluations to support research objectives. Effectively communicate research findings through presentations and publications. Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate documentation and thorough data analysis. Uphold ethical standards and comply with regulations in all research activities. Qualifications Ph.D. in Organic, Inorganic & Material Chemistry, or a related field. Strong expertise in conducting catalysis studies. Experience with advanced analytical techniques (e.g., NMR, XRD, SEM, TEM, FTIR). Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research and publish in high-impact journals. Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong commitment to sustainability. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Benefits Competitive salary ranging from $66,000 to $75,000 per year.
